The new team took over at Sunny D in 2005 and we want to produce great tasting chilled soft drinks. Children love the taste of Sunny D and they feel they’re getting a real treat when parents buy it for them. Sunny D’s strength is in creating great tasting chilled soft drinks, and that’s where our future lies. We are reinventing Sunny D and we’re going to make it stand for a whole range of chilled, fruit drinks. The first thing we’ve done, with the help of our Parents Advisory Group, is to make some changes to the current juice drink range. It’s still got the same great taste, but we’ve listened to parents and responded to the things that matter to them. Very soon we will be launching our first completely new chilled soft drink. We’re doing a test run with consumers and are in advanced discussions with one retailer to stock it exclusively. We have taken parents to the heart of our business and we promise to make sure that the decisions we make are informed by what matters to mums and dads. We recognise our responsibilities as a soft drinks company and are committed to being open and honest about what goes into our product. We want to make sure that parents get all the information they need about what goes into our products and what all the ingredients do so that they can make choices about what to give their children. That’s why Sunny D is the first soft drinks company to put GDA information on the front of pack. We believe that Sunny D has a great future ahead of it, and we are confident about the future. |
