Homemade Ice Lollies and Frozen Yoghurt

Homemade ice lollies and frozen yoghurt is easy to make and guaranteed to be a hit with all ages. Let your imagination run wild and try out new combinations of flavours.


Orange Sunny D, Mint and Chilli Ice Lollies

This classic orange taste with mint and a cheeky hit of chilli flakes is the perfect combo of hot and cold. You can buy plastic lolly moulds and little wooden sticks cheaply from a supermarket, pound shop or kitchen shop.

You will need:

  • Juicy Orange Passion Sunny D
  • 10 mint leaves
  • a scant pinch of chilli flakes
  • lolly moulds and sticks

What to do:

  • Wash and chop the mint finely.
  • Mix the Sunny D with the mint and chill flakes and stir well.
  • Pour into the lolly moulds and freeze.



Creamy Orange Frozen Yoghurt 

A delicious yoghurt and orange recipe that is so easy to make. Serve in orange halves for the authentic 70s look!

You will need:

  • 2 oranges
  • 100 ml Tangy Florida Sunny D
  • 300 ml plain yoghurt
  • a pinch of cinnamon

What to do:

  • Cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice.
  • Add the Tangy Florida Sunny D, plain yoghurt and pinch of cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Pour into a freezer proof container or shallow dish and place in the freezer.
  • Leave for 4-5 hours or overnight until firmly frozen.
  • About half an hour before you’re ready to serve, remove from the freezer.
  • Allow to defrost slightly. Scoop out spoonfuls and pile into the orange halves.
  • Serve immediately.
